It seems that the human race has always had a fascination with wealth. We are mesmerized with the “lifestyles of the rich and famous” as we wonder what it would be like to walk in their shoes. But when the writers of Scripture mention wealth, it often comes with a warning. The economy of ancient times and in our own day fluctuates for various reasons.
