Hike Richmond

We will assemble at the Great Shiplock Park for this 5.3 mile hike. We will follow the Capital Trail west past the location where Lincoln landed in April, 1865, to the Canal Walk, continuing then to Brown’s Island. We will cross the Belle Isle Pedestrian Bridge to, you guessed it, Belle Isle then continue on to the the Floodwall on the south bank by way of Buttermilk Trail, East. The Mayo Bridge will bring us back to the Capital Trail and, eventually, our starting point.
